Digital brushless motor — 7200 RPM

A high-torque digital brushless DC motor holds a constant 7200 RPM with low vibration. Constant is the important word: the speed does not sag as the battery drains or as the blade meets a denser patch of hair, so the last neckline of the day cuts like the first. Brushless also means less heat and a far longer motor life than a carbon-brush design.

Premium Titanium Black X-PRO Wide blade

The fixed blade is a Premium Titanium Black X-PRO Wide, paired with a Deep Tooth DLC moving blade. The DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating cuts friction between the two blades, which is what stops the pulling and snagging you get from a worn blade set. The result is a clean, dry cut on outlines, beard edges and detail work.

Zero-gap adjustable

The blade adjusts down to zero gap with the included mini screwdriver. Zeroed, it takes the hair as close as a trimmer physically can — this is the setting for crisp line-ups and hard partings.

360° skeleton construction

The blade is mounted open, so you see the cutting edge from every angle. That visibility is the whole point of a skeleton design: you place a line where you are looking, not where you guess. It also drops debris straight out instead of packing it behind the blade, so cleaning is a brush-off and the blade runs cooler.

Battery and charging

The lithium-ion battery gives up to 4 hours cordless and charges fully in 90 minutes. It ships with a desktop charging stand, so between clients it sits upright and charging rather than face-down on the counter.
