Electric Shavers

Electric shavers split into two families, and picking the wrong one is the most common mistake buyers make. This collection deliberately carries both: professional foil shavers for barbershop finishing work, and a rotary shaver for a comfortable daily shave at home. Decide which job you are buying for first, then compare motors and runtime.

Foil or rotary: the decision that matters

A foil shaver holds a flat, ultra-thin screen against the skin while cutters oscillate underneath. It cuts closest, follows a straight jaw or neckline precisely, and is the finishing tool for a bald fade or a skin-close taper. A rotary shaver uses circular heads that pivot to follow the contours of the face. It is more forgiving on curves and on longer or coarser stubble, and it suits a fast everyday shave rather than surgical finishing. Single foil or dual foil?

A single foil head is narrow, so it fits into tight spaces: necklines, around the ears, hairline refinement and fade finishing. The GAMMA+ Boosted One is built exactly for that, running a 9,000 RPM Super Torque motor behind an ultra-thin hypoallergenic gold titanium foil, with IPX4 splash protection.

Dual foil heads cover more area per pass and clear a full face or head faster. The STYLECRAFT Instinct Metal Shaver and the GAMMAPIU XCell Metal Shaver both use a dual foil system with hypoallergenic gold titanium coating and independent moving blades.

Motor and body

Speed and torque control decide how the shaver behaves on dense stubble. Both metal shavers run an IN2 vector motor at 11,500 RPM with smart torque control that adapts to hair resistance in real time, and both use full-metal housings that keep vibration and noise low. The HECTOR Hawks Shaver takes a simpler route with a high-speed rotary motor driving hypoallergenic ultra-thin foils, and a removable foil head for sanitising between clients.
