The MRD Pro Smart Brain Light clipper is the bulk-removal half of the Smart Brain Light pair — light enough for a full day in the hand at 250 grams and 15 cm, but geared for fades rather than finishing.

Digital brushless motor — 7500 RPM

A high-torque digital brushless DC motor runs at a constant 7500 RPM. On thick, dense or coarse hair that headroom is what keeps the blade moving through the hair instead of stalling in it, and the low vibration keeps the tool quiet next to the client's ear.

Premium DLC Hybrid / Faper blade

A Premium DLC Hybrid/Faper fixed blade runs against a Shallow DLC moving blade. This is a fade-first pairing: the shallow moving blade takes less hair per pass, which is exactly what you want when you are blending rather than bulk-cutting, and it gives you control over where the transition sits.

Zero-gap adjustable

The blade zeroes fully for close work and hard lines. Adjust with the included screwdriver and re-oil after adjusting.

Battery and charging

Up to 2.5 hours cordless from the lithium-ion battery, with a full charge in 120 minutes over USB-C — the same cable as your phone, which matters more than it sounds when you are travelling to a job.
