SMART VARIABLE T63960 has 20 teeth on each of its two arms and a 6-inch length. The teeth are angled and the arms are convex. Its defining feature is variable removal from 10% to 30%, rather than one fixed removal figure for the whole model.

The design includes a fixed finger rest and a ball-bearing system. Japanese 440C steel, a hardness of 60 HRC ±1 and Spain as the origin are the listed specifications. Treat the variable setting as a tool adjustment and check the result progressively; it does not replace selecting an appropriate section or cutting technique.
