Everything on this shelf is here for one reason: it leaves a scent behind. That covers eau de parfum and eau de toilette, lighter body mists and hair perfumes, deodorant sprays, and the scented shower gels and shampoos that start the whole thing off. The brands are NOIR, NISHMAN, NISHLADY and SIEM, and the choice usually comes down to one question - how long do you want it to last?
Eau de parfum, eau de toilette, body mist or deodorant?
These are not four versions of the same thing. They sit at different concentrations, and concentration is what you are really paying for. Higher concentration means the scent stays closer to the skin for longer and projects further; lighter formats are made to be reapplied.
- Eau de parfum (EDP) - the highest concentration here. NOIR bottles it at 50 ml and states plainly that it is formulated to outlast a body mist or an eau de toilette.
- Eau de toilette (EDT) - NISHMAN's 94 ml bottles. Long-lasting projection, but built to be topped up through the day.
- Body mist - NISHLADY's 260 ml sprays. Around six hours of wear, more than 700 sprays per bottle, and a light, non-sticky feel for the body and clothing.
- Deodorant spray - 200 ml, and its first job is odour protection, not perfumery. The fragrance is a bonus.
NOIR eau de parfum - 50 ml, E-series and K-series
NOIR runs two lines in the same 50 ml bottle: the E-series for men and the K-series for women. The men's numbers carry stated note pyramids and cover a lot of ground - woody (E3, E6, E7), woody-oriental (E2, E4), fresh and citrus-led (E5), and outright gourmand with vanilla, caramel and chocolate in the base (E8, E9). The full range sits in NOIR and again in perfumes and eau de toilette, where they are grouped by scent family.
NISHMAN eau de toilette - 94 ml
Eight numbered NISHMAN eau de toilette variants, all 94 ml and all made in Turkiye. No.03 is fresh and spicy, No.04 fresh and woody, No.01 fruity-woody, No.06 spicy and aromatic, No.07 warm and sweet, No.S9 oriental-floral. No.02 and No.05 are unisex.
Body mists, hair perfumes and deodorant sprays
NISHLADY's 260 ml body mists are the everyday layer - Beach Kiss (lemon, white tea, water lily, peach), Peaceful (citrus into raspberry and strawberry), Ambition (pear, pineapple, rose, vanilla and amber), Vanilla Paradise (cherry over vanilla and sandalwood) and more, all in body mist fragrances. The Diamond, Pearl and Ruby hair perfumes are 75 ml and made to refresh hair between washes. Deodorant sprays come as six numbered scents each for men (NISHMAN) and women (NISHLADY).
Scented shower gels and shampoos
Scent starts in the shower. SIEM's six 500 ml shower gels run from Green Apple and Sweet Melon to caramel-and-vanilla Deep Senses, and the SIEM shampoo range - keratin, argan, rosemary, garlic, milk and mint - carries the same idea into hair care. NISHMAN adds a 3-in-1 gel and a shower gel with mineral scrub.
