Product information

Artero VINTAGE thinning scissors in three size/tooth options, with coated ergonomic handles and 440C steel; compare configuration and Soft System adjustment.

VINTAGE is offered in three coded configurations: T49160 at 6 inches with 32 teeth, T54165 at 6.5 inches with 30 teeth, and T49055 at 5.5 inches with 27 teeth. The tooth count does not simply increase with overall length, so check the full option rather than guessing from the size.

The models combine coated semi-symmetric ergonomic handles, convex arms, a fixed finger rest and Soft System adjustment. The listed material is Japanese 440C steel at 60 HRC ±1, with Spain as the origin and approximately 30% removal. The selector and technical table identify each coded configuration by its length and tooth count.

Selection and controlled use

Choose thinning scissors by the complete specification: length, tooth arrangement, handle layout and removal figure. The percentage is a published comparison figure, not a guaranteed result on every head of hair. Section size, hair type and technique affect the amount actually removed. Work gradually, comb the section and inspect the result before repeating a pass, particularly when comparing models with different removal ranges.

General care guidance

Remove hair residue after use and keep the tool clean and dry. Follow the instructions supplied with the scissors for cleaning, lubrication and tension adjustment. Do not apply one model’s adjustment procedure to a different mechanism. Handle the cutting edges carefully and store the scissors so that the teeth and blades are protected from knocks.

Choosing the model

Review the technical table and the selected code before ordering. If you need help comparing the handle arrangement or tooth configuration, contact Viva Cosmetics with the model code so the discussion refers to the correct scissors.
