Product information

Artero EXCALIBUR cutting scissors pair Japanese 440C steel and Katana-style blades with semi-offset handles, a ball bearing and movable rest in two large sizes.

EXCALIBUR offers 7 inch and 7.5 inch cutting configurations with codes T34670 and T34675. Both use Japanese 440C steel at 60 HRC ±1 and Katana-style blades. The model has a substantial semi-asymmetric silhouette with semi-offset handles, giving it a different layout from compact symmetric scissors.

A ball-bearing mechanism accompanies convex-backed cutting blades and a movable finger rest. The rest is recorded as movable, rather than assumed to be the fixed rest used on ONIX. These are solid-blade cutting scissors; no thinning tooth count or removal percentage is assigned. Spain is the listed manufacturing origin.

Selection and care

Choose the length and handle arrangement according to the cutting work and your established technique. A longer blade is a different working configuration, not an automatic improvement for every task. Check the complete model code before ordering. Cutting and thinning tools have different functions even when they share a series name.

After use, remove loose hair and keep the scissors clean and dry. Follow the instructions supplied with the tool for cleaning, lubrication and tension adjustment. Protect the cutting edges from contact with other tools during storage, and avoid using the scissors to cut packaging or materials outside their intended hair-cutting purpose.

Contact Viva Cosmetics with the model code if you need help comparing the available length or handle configuration. This keeps the comparison tied to the exact scissors and helps distinguish it from similarly named cutting, thinning or left-handed models.
