This is the wet-shave shelf: razor blades, the razors that hold them, and everything that goes on the face before and after. Whether you are stocking a barbershop or shaving at home, one decision comes before all the others, and getting it wrong means the blades you bought will not fit the razor you own.

Single edge or double edge? Start here

Single edge (SE) blades go into shavettes and straight razors, the tool barbers use for beard lines, neck cleanups and the classic barbershop shave. They are sold in boxes of 100 and the difference between them is bite. DERBY Professional and DORCO Blue are the mild, forgiving end, suited to sensitive skin and lighter growth. DORCO Red uses Japanese stainless steel for a sharper, more aggressive cut on thick beards. PERMA-SHARP, SILVERMAX and AMERICAN RAZOR sit in the professional middle, while JRL uses German steel and DERBY Premium is ground from Swedish steel and comes ready to use, so nobody has to snap a double edge blade in half.

Double edge (DE) blades go into a classic safety razor, not a shavette. ASTRA Superior Platinum is the platinum-coated standard, available as a 5-pack or a box of 100. DERBY Extra is made in Turkey with a multi-layer chromium, ceramic, platinum, tungsten and polymer coating, and DERBY Premium uses Swedish steel with a five-layer coating, in 5-packs and 100-count boxes.

Shavettes and straight razors

If you need the razor as well, the NISHMAN Turkish Type and Easy Use models are lightweight shavettes with slim bodies and ergonomic handles, made for control and crisp lines. The NISHMAN Stainless Steel Straight Razor is fully steel, so the added weight carries the stroke for you. The JRL JDJ015 is a folding stainless steel razor with a magnetic blade holder for fast, secure changes.

Preparing the skin: gels, foams, soap and brush

Transparent shaving gel is the barber's choice because it does not hide the face. The non-foaming NISHMAN gels (200 ml, 400 ml, 1000 ml), BARBERTIME Sea God and Gold with pumps (1000 ml) and the PRORAPID Tattoo Series 1500 ml all keep the shaving area visible while cushioning the blade, which is what precise contours and fades demand.

Prefer lather? NISHMAN shaving foams come in Menthol and Sensitive (200 ml), and the ARKO Shaving Soap Stick (75 g), made in Turkey since 1957, still builds the dense, nostalgic lather traditional shavers come back for. Whip it up with the NISHMAN 1056 boar bristle shaving brush.

Finishing and maintenance

NISHMAN Barber Shave Talc (185 g) closes the service by absorbing moisture, lifting stray hair and leaving the skin dry and calm. Pair it with a splash from Aftershave & Colognes.

For your tools, the NISHMAN Shaver Cleaner 5-in-1 (400 ml, or 769 ml lemon) cleans, disinfects, lubricates, cools and protects blades, and the 200 ml blade oil keeps clippers and trimmers running. Sharps containers and gloves are in Barber Accessories.
