Powertec

Powertec is the practical end of the electrical shelf at Viva Cosmetics. It is a small, focused range of eight Powertec grooming tools: a cordless clipper, a T-blade trimmer, two 3-in-1 grooming sets, a rotary shaver, an IPL hair-removal device and two hair dryers. There are no flagship prices here, and no flagship claims either. It is a dependable line-up for home grooming and for shops that want a reliable second machine.

Powertec clippers and trimmers

The TR-3200 is a cordless machine for hair and beard with precision stainless-steel blades, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with fast charging, adjustable guide combs and a lightweight ergonomic body. It is built to move through thicker hair without snagging, and it covers clean lines and fades for both barbershop and home use.

The TR-758 is the detailer of the range. It pairs a metal T-blade with a 7000 RPM, 3.7 V DC motor offering four speeds, a 1400 mAh lithium battery good for around two hours cordless, and a digital battery display. It cuts to 0.1 mm for beard lines, necklines and contours, ships with 1 mm, 2 mm and 3 mm guards, and charges from a stand, an adapter or micro USB.

3-in-1 grooming sets

The TR-5800 and TR-5900 are cordless multi-head sets covering hair, beard and neckline from a single body with interchangeable heads. The TR-5800 adds a 0.5 mm guide comb. Both are aimed at everyday touch-ups and travel rather than salon volume.

Shaving and IPL

The TR-550 is a rechargeable rotary shaver. Its rotating head follows the contours of the face for a close, comfortable daily shave, and a built-in precision trimmer shapes sideburns and edges. It is worth being precise about this: it is the only shaver in the Powertec range and it is a rotary, not a foil shaver, so think of it as a daily clean-up tool rather than a barber's finishing shaver. Foil models are in electric shavers.

The TR-999 IPL device handles at-home hair removal on the body and face, with up to 999,999 flashes, automatic and manual modes and nine adjustable intensity levels.

Powertec hair dryers

Two dryers close out the collection. The TR-3333 uses plasma ionic technology to cut frizz and static, with five functions, multiple heat and speed settings, a cool-shot button and both concentrator and diffuser attachments. The TR-901 Turbo is the high-airflow option, with a turbo motor for fast drying on thick hair and a barber-style blow-dry brush included so you can shape, lift and finish in one pass. Who it is for
